What is Shea Butter?

Shea butter is a thick rich butter extracted from shea trees found in some African countries, it is solid at room temperature and has an ivory or offwhite color. It has a long shelf life and is widely used in cosmetics. It is indispensable thanks to the fact that it contains all the elements necessary to repair the skin and hair, including linoleic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, as well As vitamin A, vitamin E, and antioxidants.

The shea trees grow naturally in the wild, in the savanna belt, extending from Senegal in West Africa to Sudan in the east, and into the foothills of the Ethiopian Highlands.
